A good summary of growing perennial flowers in home
landscapes. Bed preparation, division, starting seed and
other cultural practices are covered. The botanical names of
some of the specific perennials have changed since the
publication was printed. Diagrams and photographs help
describe some cultural practices. The 1968 revision expanded
the list of plants and includes black and white drawing of
specific perennials.
